My method is to teach and apply Biblical Psychology using the latest insights of science.

Pastoral Coaching Ministry

What is it?

Pastoral coaching (for individual or families) is offered as part of the care process for people who wish to be the best they can be. It is defined as spiritual guidance in the midst of life challenges. Dr. Lincoln is trained primarily in the theological and spiritual aspects of life's issues and utilizes a Biblical Psychology/Philosophy in his coaching.

What it is not.

Dr. Lincoln is not a licensed professional therapist or counselor, but operates as a professional in pastoral matters as they relate to life's many challenging issues. He considers that finding out how God has made us is a prerequisite to effective care. He may suggest outside help as needed. Ray is a retired ordained minister with the American Baptist Churches of the Rocky Mountains and serves gladly with all churches. His earned degrees include: PhD, Mdiv, Bdiv, LTh, and he has studied to a master's level in Psychology.

Privacy is paramount. We keep the strictest confidentiality on all issues. Coaching clients are also encouraged to keep personal matters confidential in church and community.

If a client is thought to be in immediate danger to himself/herself or others, the coach will consult with appropriate professionals. We are required by law to report suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse of the disabled to the proper authorities.

Personality Assessments...

Many appraisals for self-discovery have been used, but without the help of Biblical Psychology. This is a guided life-coaching session using the Bible and its psychology with a personality assessment to guide you in spiritual self-discovery.

These positive sessions comprise fifteen minutes for the analysis and one hour of interpretation. It's better than discovering what genes you have because you see more - the way those genes interact - and you find the instructions of the one who designed you.
